Is this your first time here or you're already a part of our journey? We're glad to have you. In our last issue, we talked about the "no Phone Challenge". How's the challenge going? Have you been consistent, or has life gotten in the way?
If you've stumbled—no worries, this one’s for you.
Today’s Focus: Bouncing Back Stronger After a Fall
Setbacks are normal when you're striving for growth. But don't let them discourage you—think of them as a sign you're pushing yourself. Remember, giving up is never an option.
What challenges did you face?
Instead of getting stuck in frustration, try turning those setbacks into learning moments. Ask yourself, “What went wrong, and how can I avoid it next time?” Every misstep is a chance to grow smarter and stronger.
What really matters is consistency, not perfection. Progress comes from showing up daily, even when things don’t go as planned.
Here’s an example:
Let’s assume you’re trying to break the habit of scrolling on your phone while eating. You know it’s not great, it pulls your focus and can even affect your brain. Maybe you did great for two days, but on the third day, you slipped up.
No big deal—try this simple trick:
When you go to the kitchen to grab your meal, bring your phone with you. But instead of keeping it at the table, leave it in the kitchen. Then, after you’re done eating and you’ve taken your plate back, you can pick up your phone again.
It’s a small action, but small steps lead to big changes.
Keep pushing, stay consistent, and remember—every slip-up is just another opportunity to bounce back stronger.
Till we meet,
Mutmainnah
I appreciate your writeups.
My question is this, how do I conquer phone addiction going by the fact that I am learning so much from them?
